Member Meet Up: Writer Game Night,* monthly networking with RI creatives, will be held on Jan 2 from 5-7pm. This month's meet up will include a variety of board games for writers.

Podcast Editing Workshop,* with podcast host Jeff Emtman of KCRW's Here Be Monsters podcast, will take place from 1-4pm on Jan 11. Advanced registration required. Public - $40; Members - $32

New Year, New You: Author Headshot Day,* a professional photo shoot with local photographer Matt Ferrara, is available to Club Members for just $100. Sign up in advance for your 15-min shoot at the Club on Jan 18.

Podcasting 101,* an intro to podcasting and orientation to the What Cheer Writers Club Podcasting Studio, will be held on Jan 23 from 6-8pm. Sign Up Here.

Before & After the Book Deal, featuring author Courtney Maum, in partnership with The Cardigan Connection, will be held on Jan 27 from 7-9pm. Advanced tickets required.

Member Meet Up: Speed Dating for Writing Partners,* monthly networking with RI creatives, will be held on Feb 6 from 5-7pm. At this month's meet up, opt to meet other writers in a non-romantic "speed dating" activity to connect you with a writing exchange partner.

Wikipedia for Writers,* a workshop with RI Arts & Culture Fellow Janaya Kizzie will be held on Feb 13.

The Narrative Tarot, A Divinitory Writing Class, a two-session class that uses Tarot cards as tools for creation, completion and revision, will be taught by Club Member Amy Eller Lewis on Feb 9 & 16.

Screenwriting for Film and TV, a 6-week GrubStreet course taught by Mark Forgarty, will be held on Thursdays beginning Feb 13.

Urban Wildlife: Writing to Co+Exist, a workshop for writers interested in creating new work relevant to their community and the creatures living there, will be led by Club Member Susan Tacent and scientist and founder of Creature Conserve Lucy Spelman on Feb 15. Open to writers of poetry and prose. $45 for Club Members; $55 for nonmembers.
