IRL to Virtual

We’ve all attended awkward online events, from glitchy Zoom meetings to poorly attended readings. What’s the difference between planning an event in real life (IRL) vs. virtual? How can writers and podcasters harness online platforms to effectively promote their work? On Sat, Feb 6 at 1pm join What Cheer Writers Club online for IRL to Virtual, a panel of experts with tips for successful online readings, recordings, interviews & launches. Register for your link to the panel here.

We’ll review virtual platforms with Dominic Perri of Hollihock.com, brush up on visual presentation skills with brand expert Ezra Winters, take a voice lesson from audio journalist Adeline Sire, and learn strategies for promoting events with communications consultant Francesca Olsen.

Accessibility: What Cheer Writers Club is actively committed to cultivating a community that values and reflects diversity, equity and inclusivity and to providing programming that is accessible to all attendees. Please let us know about any accommodations we can make to allow you to participate fully in this event.
