Can Everybody Hear Me?

April is “Of Mics & Writers Month” at What Cheer Writers Club. While many writers prefer to hole away in a nook or armchair, sharing your work in front of an audience can be a rewarding experience—if you feel prepared. On Sat., April 13 from 1-3pm What Cheer Writers Club Members are invited to Can Everybody Hear Me?,* a panel of speakers offering tips on reading your work—from microphone etiquette to what not to wear to your first author reading. You’ll even have a chance to practice reading your work into a mic.

*This is a Members Only event. Membership rates are from $5 to $10/month. What Cheer Writers Club is a nonprofit organization; membership fees may be tax deductible. Join now.
