November 2019

One Year Anniversary/NaNoWriMo Kick Off Party, a celebration of What Cheer Writers Club to kickstart National Novel Writing Month, will begin at 5pm on Nov 1.

NaNoWriMo Sprint Days, a free and open to the public communal writing sprint, will be held on Sundays during National Novel Writing Month on Nov 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 10am-1pm.

A Rhode Island Council for the Humanities Happy Hour with guest speaker Janaya Kizzie will be held on Nov 19 from 5-7pm.

Podcasting 101,* an intro to podcasting and orientation to the What Cheer Writers Club Podcasting Studio, will be held on Nov 21 from 6-8pm. Sign Up Here.

The Podcasters' Club, open to all local podcasters, will hold its first meeting at What Cheer Writers Club at 5:30pm on Nov 13.

Beyond Picture Books: Illustrating for Middle Grade Book Covers and Graphic Novels, a workshop with RISD professors Kelly Murphy and Antoine Revoy, will be held at What Cheer Writers Club on Nov 16. Registration opens Oct 15.

October 2019

Member Meet Up with the Design Office, monthly networking with Club Members, will be held on Oct 3 from 5-7pm. At this month's meet up mingle with local designers and tour their neighboring coworking space.

A special bilingual edition of What Cheer Writers Club's Podcasting 101 will be available to members of the RI Latinx community at the RILA headquarters at La Galería in Central Falls at 5:45pm on Oct 10. Advanced registration required.

Revising Your Fiction, a GrubStreet seminar taught by K Chess, will be held on Oct 19.
